Saint Louis Lambert International Airport

St. Louis Lambert International Airport

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Wright Construction Services is the general contractor for the project to relocate St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s airfield maintenance and snow removal facilities to a new 35-acre site. The campus includes two main buildings totaling approximately 285,000 square feet under roof and will centralize operations currently spread across nine outdated buildings, some more than 50 years old. The project is the first phase of the airport’s West Airfield Program and will be followed by construction of a new west deicing pad.

The new campus is designed to consolidate and modernize airfield operations, with facilities for snow removal, the airport auto shop, materials warehousing, landscaping and maintenance. It is also a foundational step in the airport’s larger terminal consolidation plan. After the new maintenance facility is completed, the existing facility will be demolished to make way for a new west deicing pad located closer to the runways.
