The Bob Costas Cancer Center Addition & Renovation transformed approximately 16,000 SF across two levels into a modern, patient-focused healthcare environment designed to support pediatric oncology services. Recognizing the unique needs of children and their families, the project incorporated vibrant colors, playful geometric forms, engaging interior graphics, and age-appropriate finishes to create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes comfort, healing,
and positive patient experiences. The scope included both new construction and renovation of existing clinical and support areas, resulting in enhanced treatment spaces, family-centered amenities, improved staff work areas, and upgraded building systems. Careful phasing and coordination were required to complete the work within an active healthcare setting while maintaining uninterrupted operations and minimizing disruption to patients, caregivers, and
medical staff.
